Mr Zvomuya is the current Director of the National Sports Academy (Bindura University of Science Education 2013 to Current)

His vision is to assist towards the promotion and sustainable development of sport in Zimbabwe.  He has played a pivotal role in sport in Zimbabwe with specific reference to sport development, administration, development and sport education programmes.

He strives to advance cutting-edge sports and recreation specific research, educate current and future sports professionals and improve the physical, mental, physiological, spiritual and emotional growth of citizens through sports.

Titus has written several publications and presented papers on sport related issues to various audiences globally.

Mr Zvomuya has  conducted extensive research on sports development, administration and impact on social -economic factors that have contributed positively towards policy framework crafting for the sports and recreation industry in Zimbabwe.

Titus has held several previous board and executive positions including:

  • Being an Executive Board Member of the Zimbabwe Olympic Committee (2005-2017),
  • Chief Executive Officer of the Zimbabwe Rugby Union (2004- 2005).
  • Chairperson    of the Development Commission (2005-09),
  • Chairperson   of the Zimbabwe Sport and Recreation Commission (SRC) Academic Board and Sport Education    Programme,
  • Annual National Sports Awards (ANSA) Judges Panel in 1999 – 2003, 2008 to 2017,
  • Executive Board Member, African Association of Physical Education and Dance, Sport and Recreation(1997-present),
  • Member Advisory Committee – Bindura University of Science Education, Board member of the National Sports Academy and Course and Programme Director of the Zimbabwe Olympic Committee, Head of Delegation for the World University Games, Fukuoka, Japan (1995) and Chef de Mission U/19 World Cup Rugby, Durban, South  Africa (2005).

Titus enjoys reading, writing, mountain climbing and watching sports. He is married to   and have two children.
