Special Olympics Zimbabwe is a welfare organization that aims to position people with Intellectual Disability (ID) as leaders in sustaining acceptance and respect within families, schools and communities through inclusive unified sports, fitness and youth activation programmes. Special Olympics strive to create a better world by fostering the acceptance and inclusion of all people through sport. Through the engaging medium of sports, Special Olympics provides initiatives that include, uplift, empower, educate children, youth and adults with intellectual disabilities, and ensure their full and active participation in society.
