Hlengiwe Dube is a strategist with extensive experience in corporate management, institutional capacity development, and Defence Research. A Colonel in the Zimbabwe National Army, she has served as a Training and Sports Officer at Zimbabwe Military Academy, a tutor and Residential Sports Administrator at Monash University in South Africa, a lecturer at Zimbabwe Staff College and a Commanding Officer at 53 Infantry Battalion.
Her academic background is multidisciplinary. She holds a Master of Management from the Southern School of Business, a Master of International Studies from the Zimbabwe Defence University, a Master of Philosophy in Integrated Water Management from Monash University (South Africa), a Bachelor of Social Science (Hons) from Monash University. She also holds a Diploma in War and Strategic Studies and a Diploma in Senior Level Defence Management (Devi Ahilya University, Indoor, India).
